Emily Irene VanCamp was born in Canada and is an actress who has starred in a variety of television shows. She is also a star in the field of film. The actress is popular on Canadian as well as American Television. Emily's passion for acting started when, at age 12, she went to visit their sister Katie who was filming one of Katie's films. When she began to realize that acting was her love, she began to learn how to act as well as attend auditions. She started out with a small amount of advertisements and then was cast in Are You afraid of the Dark A Canadian horror show for kids. In one single scene she was not even speaking any words. On the WB television show Glory Days, she received her first major break when she was just 15 years old. Emily's role in Glory Days, a show on WB that was cancelled nine episodes later, caught the attention and casting of Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Additionally, a dancer and photographer, Emily was featured as a Teen as one of the most popular actresses under the age of 20. The actress was named the 51st on the Maxim's Hot 100 list of 2014.
