Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actor who is known for her lead roles in a variety of television shows and also for her powerful acting in films. The popularity of her is shared by both Canadian as well as American TV. When Emily was twelve, she started to get interested in acting after she visited her elder sister Katie at the location of one of her films. Once she discovered her passion for acting she started taking acting classes, and then going for auditions. She started out with a couple of ads, and was soon included in the show Are You Afraid Of The Dark, a Canadian horror series for children. where she was seen in a single scene with any dialogue. In the WB TV show Glory Days, she received her first major break at the age of 15. Emily's talents attracted the attention of Greg Berlanti when the show was canceled after just nine episodes. He subsequently cast Emily as a character on Everwood the new television show. Emily has also been a dancer also a photographer, and was listed as among the top 20 Teen's actors. Maxim's Hot 100 for 2014 listed her as #51.
