Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 1975, died in 1970) is an acclaimed American actress. Her most well-known role is for playing detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter and Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama Providence. In addition, she received high praise for her first television character for Guiding Light on CBS as Eleni Cooper. Her most notable film credits include 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted into a feature film by Vlas Parlapanides (the couple who wrote the Immortals) has been reported to be on the way. In addition, she is filming an upcoming TV series called Gods & Heroes.
