Katherine Heigl, the actress of "Grey's Anatomy," has herself about her experience of being raised in an environment that was a "white bubble" and how the realisation has impacted how she raises her adoptive multiracial children. In recent episodes of "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy", and "Grey's Anatomy" actor Katherine Heigl admitted that she did not care about her skin tone, until she got to know her adoptive sister who was from South Korea. "I inquired of Meg how she was different when she went out with us parents than the times she was out alone. Meg replied, "Oh, yeah, all the all the time! Heigl explained to Parents: "That was when I realized that my naivety had caused me to feel." Heigl said she got upset and believed it was important to focus her anger towards helping her adopted daughters. Heigl shares a son of 4 years with Josh Kelley, her husband over the last 13 years. The couple took in Nancy Leigh (age 12) from South Korea and Adalaide (age 8), who is black in 2009.
